Opera Conference 2023: Director Designer Showcase

The Director-Designer Showcase featured the winning teams of the 2023 Robert L.B. Tobin Director-Designer Prize. See presentations of their award-winning production concepts. Supported by the Tobin Theatre Arts Fund, each team received funding to refine their concept proposals for presentation at the conference and in a four-month rotating exhibition at the National Opera Center. Winning team leaders: Claire Choquette, director (Salome); Kimille Howard, director (Sweeney Todd); Alison Pogorelc, director (Salome); Ian Silverman, director (Fellow Travelers).
